Detroit-based metalcore band Walls of Jericho have been relatively quiet since the 2008 release of their fourth album, The American Dream. While they had broken up in 2001 for a few years, they were pretty much just on an extended hiatus, playing occasional shows and having released a demo upon announcing that they were signing to Napalm. We now have an album title. track listing, release date and album artwork for their fifth album. No One Can Save You From Yourself will be out on March 25th. Frontwoman Candace Kucsulain spoke about the new record:
“Sometimes in life we lose ourselves, and for me it’s always been music that’s brought me back to who I am and what I love. It’s never to late to rediscover yourself. This experience was a reminder to “Find what you love and let it kill you”!”
In the eight years since the release of The American Dream, Kucsulain has had a child with her husband, Death Before Dishonor guitarist Frankie. Most recently, the band played New Jersey’s Starland Ballroom with fellow new Napalm signing Life of Agony. You can see pictures from that show here.
