dream-theater-the-astonishing-650A few weeks ago, we told you about Dream Theater’s ambitious double-album The Astonishing set to be released on January 29th via Roadrunner, and we were able to listen to the first track off it “The Gift of Music” which sounds good and isn’t 20 min long. As expected after every new album announcement, the band just revealed the dates for their new North American tour and it promises to be something special.

The prog masters will travel across the entire globe supporting their new album and they say they’ll be “performing an historic set in immersive and interactive settings for a unique and unparalleled live experience,” which basically translate that they’ll be performing The Astonishing in its entirety.

If you want to go see the band playing through 34 songs in a single night, you can get your tickets, including VIP, starting tomorrow 18th here. Check the worldwide itinerary below:

Black Metal enthusiast from Los Angeles who thought was a good idea to grab a camera and shoot underground shows for the hell of it. Pseudo-writer with little to no expectations of ever winning a Pulitzer but totally down to write about your unknown band if it's good to my ears. I enjoy long walks on the beach, deep conversation, holding hands and attending Satanic music shows every now and then.
