The Eagles of Death Metal interview with Vice finally went live this past Wednesday (25), and it’s a must-watch. The interview ends by the band asking artists to cover “I Love You All The Time” from their latest album, saying they’d donate all proceeds from publishing to victims and families of the Bataclan concert earlier this month where 89 concertgoers were killed. It took not-black metal band My Morning Jacket three days to  be one of the first bands to honor that request. At their November 28 show at the Beacon in New York City, the band requested a moment of silence for the victims of the attacks, then covered the song. It will be interesting to see if other bands take up the cause, because it’s a basic enough song that it can be translated into many different styles.
