Last week, Crucible, a new Detroit-area band was announced. Featuring members of We Came as Romans, Assassins and former Taproot drummer Nick Freddell, the band promised to be “the heaviest music hands down” that producer Nick Sampson has ever worked on. Earlier this week, the band  shared a new song, “Death Rate,” that features guest vocals from Bleeding Through vocalist Brandan Schieppati. It’s certainly heavier than anything We Came as Romans or Taproot has put out. There’s no word on when they’ll officially have a release out, but with at least one song out already, it probably won’t be too long.
