Earlier this month Abbath solidified their line-up, and announced a European tour with Behemoth, Inquisition, and Entombed AD for early 2016. Now Abbath has finally revealed that their debut album will be coming out in January of next year. Also announced is a change to a scheduled September 18th appearance in London, which has been pushed back, and will now serve as the official album release show for the new album.
Said Olve Eikemo (Abbath) to Metal Hammer,
“With every great release, there is a party to go with it – and this album is no exception. All tickets remain valid. Primordial and Conan will still be coming along for the ride, alongside Metal Hammer DJs and more. See you down the front.”
Abbath left Immortal earlier this year, and then news of the remaining members of the band, Demonaz and Horgh, won a court battle to keep the name Immortal came out earlier this month.
