It has been fifteen years since the punk/metal outfit Injected released 2002’s Burn It Black. Moving forward, the band are gearing up to release their upcoming album The Truth About You out June 2 via Slush Fund, produced by Kyle Spence (Harvey Milk, Kurt Vile, J Mascis) who also played on the drums. You will hear a few guitar riffs from the late Jade Lemons who mysteriously passed away last year. His death motivated frontman Danny Grady to create new melodic tunes and it is the most reflective piece he has written.

Their new single “On Fire,” brings them back to their element with a mix between stoner and a hard rock edge. It’s fun yet you hear a few darkened distortions while Grady’s vocals are a clear tribute to Lemons.

Pre-orders for The Truth About You are available now via SLUSH FUND and iTunes .
