For a while back in the last decade, Breaking  Benjamin were one of the biggest rock bands around. Racking up a ton of active rock radio hits, the band abruptly stopped making music after their 2009 album, Dear Agony. Then frontman Benjamin Burnley fired guitarist Aaron Fink and bassist Mark Klepaski over a dispute on a remix of their greatest hits album.  While the band never officially broke up, they were allegedly taking time off due to Burnley’s health issues.

Now the band have returned with a new album, Dark Before Dawn, coming out on June 23rd. They’re previewing the album via “Failure,” the albums’ first single. If you’re a fan of the band’s melodic mainstream hard rock, you’ll be happy to hear they’re back. If you haven’t liked them in the past, this probably won’t be the song to win you over. Either way, check it out, and if you want to pre-order the album, you’ll be able to get an instant grat download of the song.
