Last year, we saw the end of many festivals, including the Rockstar Energy Drink Mayhem Festival and its sister tour Uproar Festival because of the million problems they had to face, mostly on the business side of things, but another tour that went through some struggle as well was the Metal Alliance tour.
The tour went from dropping one of the headliners Entombed A.D., which was later revealed involved some money issues, to cancelling of the entire tour, at least with the Metal Alliance moniker, as Deicide took the lead and continue the trek on their own, after calling the organizers out.
After all that, it seems like the touring festival is getting ready to give it a go one more time as they announced their return for 2016 in the following Facebook post:
Here is a sneak peek of the artwork for the 6th Annual Metal Alliance Tour. Hope you are ready!!!!

Some leaked information assures that this year’s tour will be taken over by Dying Fetus, The Acacia Strain, Jungle Rot, Black Crown Initiate and Exit Strategy with a date scheduled on May 8th in Edmonton, AB.
We’re going to wait and see if this information is accurate and how will the tour go this time, hopefully will go better considering that this year, there are no foreign bands to pay for and the cost may be considerable lower than last time.
