Wolfgang Van Halen, son of late, great, guitar god, Eddie Van Halen, took to the stage for the first time Tuesday, July 27th, with his band Mammoth WVH. The show took place at Bottleneck in Lawrence, Kansas in front of an excited, sold out, crowd. We posted fan videos of the show down below.

After the show, Wolfgang posted on his twitter,

“Show number 1 is officially in the books. Thanks so much for coming out and sharing this special night with us, folks. I won’t forget it.”

Wolf played every instrument on Mammoth WVH’s debut self titled album released on June 11th, a fact that he thinks may surprise fans.

On tour, Mammoth WVH features Wolfgang on guitar and lead vocals, Frank Sidoris from Slash featuring Myles Kennedy and the Conspirators on guitar, Jon Jourdan on guitar and vocals, Garrett Whitlock of Tremonti on drums, and Ronnie Ficarro on bass.

Mammoth WVH will be supporting Guns N’ Roses on tour beginning July 31 at Hersheypark Stadium and conclude in early October with a two-night run at the Hard Rock Live Arena in Hollywood, Florida.
