Slayer guitarist Kerry King made a surprise appearance at WrestleMania 41, performing WWE’s Damian Priest’s entrance theme, “Rise For The Night,” live at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas on Sunday (20th).
A longtime Slayer fan, Priest previously renamed his finishing move “South of Heaven” in homage to the band. King gave Priest’s entrance theme a fresh edge last year, and seeing him perform it live gave it an experience to remember. Priest faced off against Drew McIntyre and ultimately lost. McIntyre ultimately won the brutal match, taking Priest down by a Claymore Kick into a steel chair.
