If you’ve ever seen a Slipknot show, you know what a high intensity performance the band puts on. In fact, the band had to postpone the first two weeks of their tour for singer Corey Taylor to have spinal surgery. He’s been performing in a neck brace, and was told that he couldn’t headbang. Their tour with Marilyn Manson finally kicked off this week, and things went fine for the first show – and most of the second. During the last song of their encore last night in Atlanta at the end of “Spit it Out,” the singer suffered a pretty nasty fall, and had to be helped offstage by the crew and other band members.

Thankfully, Taylor said he was OK last night and reiterated it today, and there haven’t been any further cancellations.
