Idaho rockers Silent Theory have recently signed with Paul Crosby Management (founding member of Saliva) as they are currently finishing up their new album, set to arrive in April. Today (8th), the group comprised of brothers Mitch, Scott, and George Swanger, as well as Robert James and Dakota Elliot Tyler, have teamed up with Metal Insider to premiere a video directed by Dawson Scholz for their new single “Shaking Cages.” The lyrics were written by Dakota Jerns and music by Scott Swanger. The track was recorded, mixed, and mastered by Jimmy Hill at Amplified Wax Recording Studio. 

Dakota Jerns comments:

“Shaking Cages is a song that developed from the feeling of being stranded on an island and doing everything you can to be found. It was also a direct statement from the band to showcase our growth from the last record to now. It grew from the wishful idea that if you set enough fires and shake enough cages you might be seen.”
