The Minneapolis, MN metalcore outfit Divide the Fall formed back in 2017 as they’ve already unleashed their debut self-titled EP earlier this year. The group has performed a number of shows as they’ve shared the stage with bands such as P.O.D and Alien Ant Farm. Today (16th) we are excited to premiere the powerful video for “The Storm,” which is taken from their EP. The track was written to express social issues surrounding suicide and depression as bassist/vocalist Matthew DeMar explained:

“The Storm” is a song we wrote to address the social issues surrounding suicide, depression, self harm, and struggles with addiction. These topics tend to be surrounded by a negative stigma in today’s society and we hope to use this song as a way to shed light on the daily struggles faced by people dealing with these problems. By using our own personal experiences as well as the experiences of those close to us, we wrote this song as a way to say that it’s okay to not be okay; That it is okay to reach out for help. We wrote this song to reach out to those who continue with these struggles to remind them that they are not alone.”
