Italian pagan/folk metal outfit Elvenking will release their latest full-length album, Reader of the Runes – Luna, on April 11, 2025, via Reaper Entertainment. The record serves as the grand finale of the Reader of the Runes trilogy. The group has recently released a visualizer for the album’s first single, “Throes of Atonement.” In support of the record, Elvenking will join forces with Alestorm, Ensiferum, Týr, and Heidevolk for the return of Paganfest in 2025 in Europe.
Guitarist Aydan comments:
“We are incredibly proud of how this trilogy comes to an epic conclusion. Luna combines the medieval aura of Divination with the dark threat of Rapture. In this final chapter, everything is revealed — the identity of the Rune Reader and the connections between all the characters.”

“It’s been a long journey, starting back in 2018, and now we bring the story to its peak. The music in Luna is mysterious, melancholic, but also incredibly epic. We’re proud to have created a work that offers fans the conclusion they deserve.”
