Not too long ago, a group of eight to ten year olds (known as The Mini Band) gained quite a lot of buzz when their covers of Metallica’s “Enter Sandman” and Guns N’ Roses’ “Sweet Child O’ Mine” first hit the web. And apparently, fans weren’t the only ones impressed by the young musicians’ performance.

Earlier this month, Metallica themselves sent The Mini Band a video message to show their support. The video above shows all four members rocking out to the kids’ rendition of “Enter Sandman” and giving the young members kind words of encouragement. Lars Ulrich even jokes that Metallica would be available to open for them anytime they’d want. If Metallica was to one day play or collaborate with the Mini Band, though, perhaps they could dub it Lulu-by?
