Apparently someone over at Lego headquarters is a fan of hardcore. Guitarist Jason Maas of hardcore band Defeater was asked to record a hardcore song for the construction toy company’s Lego Club TV series. Performing all the instruments, Maas brought in Bridge Nine Records’ founder Chris Wrenn to sing on “Let’s Go!,” co-written by Lego Art Director Toby Dutkiewicz (who apparently is also the brother of Killswitch Engage’s Adam Dutkiewicz…think we found our hardcore fan at Lego HQ). What then resulted was a Lego toy stop-animation video, which shows you all the magical things you can build with Legos in the setting of a hardcore show.

The animated video does an awesome job recreating a hardcore show via Lego toys. The best thing about this video, though, is that it was actually created by Lego themselves (not just some fans with construction toys and way too much free time). Pretty damn cool that they created a video and song like this, let alone getting Defeater’s Jay Maas and Bridge Nine Records’ founder Chris Wrenn involved. Watch the animated video for “Let’s Go!” above.
