Swedish black/thrash outfit Last Legion are gearing up for their debut effort, Metall, Blod & Aska, scheduled to arrive on February 17, 2023, via Grind to Death Records. Formed in 2009 by Christian (guitarist) and Andreas (bassist), it took time for the group to develop their overall dark-blackened thrash sound when Tomas (drummer) and Olle (vocalist) joined the band in 2016. Following a 2018 demo and their 2021 EP, these blackened thrashers are ready to unleash their full-length offering. Today (14th), the group has teamed up with Metal Insider to premiere the title track.

“Metall, Blod & Aska’ (Metal, Blood & Ashes) is the title and opening track of our upcoming debut album. It is a war-themed song about taking back what is ours, rising up from the ashes, and letting our storm-worn flag fly high again. Let the enemy taste lead!”
