skeletonwitch wells of despairIt’s been almost a year since Skeletonwitch had to replace their long-time singer and founding member Chance Garnette due to his drinking problem which he admitted himself was affecting his dynamic with the rest of the band. After a while, things remained sort of quiet at the Skely camp except for their news about them working in a new album with a new singer, which ended up being Wolvhammer’s singer Adam Clemans and we can finally hear new music with his screeches and growls.

“Well of Despair” is the new track off Skeletonwitch’s upcoming EP and you can get a spin on it with their new in-studio music video below and even download it from their bandcamp page right now. After listening to it, you will realize that it sounds exactly like Skeletonwitch and we can tell now why the band decided the Clemans was the perfect fit for their new music and 13 years of back-catalog they have.

Remember to check out Clemans and the rest of the guys during their trek with Abbath, Tribulation and High on Fire in a few more dates with the Decibel Magazine Tour at any of the following dates:

Pseudo-writer with little to no expectations of ever winning a Pulitzer but totally down to write about your unknown band if it's good to my ears. I enjoy long walks on the beach, deep conversation, holding hands and attending Satanic music shows every now and then.
