The original video for Metallica’s hit, “Nothing Else Matters,” has reached a huge milestone on Youtube. One billion views and counting, last look, it was eight million past that. The video, uploaded in October of 2009, comes from the band’s fifth album, released in 1991, simply titled Metallica also known as The Black Album. The record’s appeal is legendary, and on September 10th Metallica will release a 30th anniversary deluxe box set of the album, which will include The Blacklist, a collection of covers from the record by over fifty different artists from across the globe. A reimagined version of the song is featured in the Disney film Jungle Cruise starring Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson and Emily Blunt.
