Of Mice & Men’s new album Defy will be released on January 19th, 2018. It will be the group’s first album without Austin Carlile. Carlile left the band late last year shortly after the release of their fourth studio album Cold World. To celebrate the album’s arrival, these metalcore giants are kicking off a North American headlining run in 2018 with Blessthefall, Cane Hill, and Fire From the Gods. The tour begins on February 1st in Santa Cruz, CA and concludes on March 7th in San Diego, CA. Tickets and VIP packages will go on sale this Wednesday (29th) at 10 am local time.
Today (27th), the band premiered a lyric video of the title track.
Vocalist/bassist Aaron Pauley commented:
“To defy means to challenge the power of; resist boldly or openly. Our song ‘Defy’ is all about digging your heels in, and being defiant towards feelings of hopelessness, and defining yourself in the process.”
