Misery Index released The Killing Gods about a year ago, and today they release a music video for, “The Harrowing,” the second music video taken from that album. The new clip is directed by David Hall of Handshake Inc., who also directed the band’s previous video for, “The Calling.”
Vocalist / bassist Jason Netherton spoke about the latest album in an interview with Revolver:
“With the ability to have a longer writing period and also record at our own pace, we think the sound came out a little bit more to our own liking rather than previous records. We have a new member since the last time, Darin Morris [guitar]. We don’t want to repeat ourselves too. We have had grindcore influences on the past albums, but I think this album is probably our most death-metal record.”
The band is currently out on tour, having just started their 12-date tour with Lord Dying who released Poisoned Altars earlier this year.
