Things have been quiet for Lorna Shore in the past few months because they’ve been gearing up to release their newest offering titled Flesh Coffin. To make the announcement more appealing to the fans, the band just released the first single off it, and it’s as brutal as you can imagine.
Lorna Shore just premiered their newest song “Denounce the Light” and is a nice mix of aggressive deathcore with some heavy blackened death metal. Lorna Shore’s Adam De Micco had this to say about the track:
“It was about having a simple and digestible song structure, but making sure the content within that structure was interesting to both the musician as well as everyday fan. Lyrically, this song is about someone calling forth into the universe offering their life (because their dying) so they can live again at any means necessary.”
Flesh Coffin is set to be released on February 17th via Outerloop Records. IOn a related note, Lorna Shore will be playing a special showcase with Chasing Safety, Youth in Revolt, and Megosh tomorrow, Nov. 17th at the Studio at Webster Hall in NYC.
