Lindemann, Rammstein frontman Till Lindemann’s side-project with Swedish multi-instrumentalist Peter Tagtgren (Hypocrisy, Pain), has released a video for their latest single “Knebel.”

The video for “Knebel” (translated into English as “gag”), was filmed on location in Russia and Germany. Escalating in intensity as the song goes from folky travel song to blast your ears metal, the video goes from scenes of beautiful nature to raw carnal rage in a matter of seconds. Because of nudity, blood and more, the highly NSFW clip is only shown in its entirety once on Knebel.tv before a heavily censored version was uploaded to the duo’s YouTube channel.

“Knebel” is the third single from the duo’s upcoming sophomore album, F & M, proceeded by videos for “Steh auf” and “Ich weiß es nicht.” The album follows their 2015 debut, Skills in Pills. Recorded entirely in German (unlike ‘Skills,’ which was recorded in English), the album was conceived around the duo’s 2018 adaptation of the Brothers Grimm’s Hansel & Gretel. Featuring five songs from the play, they recorded six more tracks to round out the album.

F & M is set to hit shelves November 22 and will be available in standard 6-panel digipack, special edition deluxe hardcover book, 180-gram 2xLP and digital formats.

On top of the new video, Lindemann has also announced a winter 2020 European tour. The trek kicks off in Hannover, Germany on February 4 with stops in Austria, Czech Republic, Switzerland, France, the UK and Sweden before wrapping up February 29 in Helsinki, Finland.
