Get ready for this Thursday (6th) as it could mean a brand new single from Lamb of God. Or at least, that’s what we think (and hope). Looking at the group’s social media accounts, they’re either sharing a teaser for new music or reflecting on old handwritten lyrics. One teaser clip shows the next video or song will possibly be politically driven, and MetalSucks found what could be lyrics to their new single, “Checkmate.”

Additionally, if you go to the band’s website, nothing else seems to be there aside from a stagnant clock with political imagery in the background along with a date reading “Feb 6.” Obviously, something will happen on Thursday, and we are looking forward to hearing new music from LOG.

Today I’m cranking on these handwritten lyrics for some very generous people who purchased them and entered @lambofgod’s campaign with @propeller.la to benefit @libbyslegacy Breast Cancer Foundation. These people (& others) have also been entered to win my gold record plaque for our album, “Sacrament”- this campaign ends in five days, January 10, 2020, and there is still ONE SET of handwritten lyrics to any lamb of god song (of your choice) left available for purchase. Also, you don’t have to buy lyrics to enter to win the record- just donate to the campaign to enter to win! THE LINK TO ENTER IS IN MY BIO- Libby’s Legacy is a great organization that helps women in underserved communities get comprehensive breast cancer services, so kick down a few bucks & help #savethetatas! #fuckcancer #libbyslegacy UPDATE: all 15 sets of lyrics are now SOLD OUT! THANK YOU, kind people, for having a heart (& giving me writer’s cramp!)
