On June 25th, fans of Lacuna Coil will be treated to a brand new live performance DVD entitled Live from the Apocalypse from Century Media. In it will be a performance of the band’s album, Black Anima from September of 2020 as the pandemic was influencing and changing the way we lived. One of the songs performed from their 2019 effort was “Veneficium.” Vocalist Cristina Scabbia says on the track:

“Veneficium is the painful and fierce scream that rises from the darkness. Another day has born and has new hope in it, the poison inside has been defeated and a new refreshed and healed life can start again.”

Captured in 2020 in their hometown of Milan, Italy at the Alcatraz Club, Lacuna Coil played to an empty house. Gone was the roar of a frenzied and waiting crowd. The band had to adjust, they had to reach their hordes of fans around the world and they had to bring a message of hope to a world turned upside down. Live from the Apocalypse was live streamed on that day and their message was delivered. Now, on June 25th this worldwide event will be available in multiple formats:
