With the release of Redeemer of Souls, Judas Priest proved that they’re still at the top of their game over 40 years into their career. Rob Halford isn’t mellowing with age, and even without K.K. Downing, the band are still a force to be reckoned with. Their forthcoming Battle Cry CD/Blu-ray/DVD was recorded at Germany’s Wacken Fest last year in front of an audience of 85,000. They’re a commanding force live, and seem completely at home in front of a gigantic crowd. In anticipation of the March 25th release of the 94-minute concert film (and 15-track CD), they released a live clip of “Metal Gods,” from 1980’s British Steel, and metal gods they are.
