I Prevail has released a music video for their latest single “Paranoid.”

The video finds vocalist Brian Burkheiser playing a surgeon called into a critical operation after taking a pill that makes him hallucinate. It transitions between the outer world and the chaos in his head as the rap/rock soundtrack of the song provides a nice contrast to the different parts of the video.

“Paranoid” is the third single from I Prevail’s upcoming second album Trauma. In February, the band released videos for the singles “Bow Down” and “Breaking Down.”

‘Trauma’ hits shelves March 29 via Fearless Records. Of the album, Burkheiser said in an Instagram post,

“After my vocal injury, I almost gave up and left my band. I was in the worst mental state of my life and felt like everything we worked for was over. Early last year though, I told myself that if we were going to get back and write another record it needed to be done OUR WAY. No label telling us who to work with, or what our music should sound like. No negativity coming in from outside sources. No cookie cutter BS. Just us and our producer @tylersmyth making songs that came from a place of 100% authenticity. This record means everything to me.”

The album is the follow-up to the band’s 2016 debut, Lifelines.

I Prevail will be on tour throughout North America this spring and summer with Issues and Justin Stone. The first leg starts April 24 in Kansas City, MO and covers the west coast through May 25 in Detroit, MI with a second, east coast leg beginning July 11 in London, ON and lasting through August 9 in Grand Rapids, MI. In between, the band will be playing a handful of European tour and festival dates, including Rock Am Ring, Rock Im Park, Novarock and Download Festival.
