Commercials – we’ve all watched them and advertisers are making it difficult to skip them. No matter where you click on the web or tune in on the TV, there’s always an ad of some sort waiting for you. However, in the United States, we are hardly entertained with ads that feature metal. While we’ve seen glimpses of it in recent years such as Radio Shack’s 2014 Super Bowl spot that referenced everything 80s including Twisted Sister or Walmart’s back-to-school ad that included Whitesnake’s “Here I Go Again,” but on the whole, there hasn’t been too much of it.
However, this is still alive in other countries. Nissin, a Japanese company known for instant noodles released a commercial for their chicken ramen noodles that has now gone viral on the internet. There is a longer story about this campaign and you can read all about that here but essentially, it’s an anime ad on how a chicken made a deal with the devil.
