On Friday (7), Fear Factory released their latest album, Genexus. It’s the band’s first album for Nuclear Blast, and the album has been pretty well-reviewed so far from both critics and fans. With the band currently on the road with Coal Chamber, they’ve released a video for “Dielectric,” a song we’ve already gotten the chance to hear. As for the video, it’s in keeping with the band’s M.O.: the fusion of man and machine. The band plays amidst a backdrop that looks like a cross between a level in a video game and something in Blade Runner. If you’re looking for Fear Factory to do something that outside of the box on their ninth album, you’re not paying attention, but if you’re one of the band’s many fans, you’ll enjoy this.
