It’s been a few years since we heard about the Dimebash event, where many renowned musicians from various rock and metal bands get together to play Pantera songs in honor of the late Dimebag Darrel Abbott. The event came back this year and there’s footage of the show where you can see members of Pantera, Machine Head, Foo Fighters and more perform songs, not just from Pantera, but Motorhead, Slayer and many more. Several videos have surfaced online from the several performances like Slayer’s “Reign in Blood,” Black Sabbath’s “Children of the Sea” but you can watch above Phil Anselmo, Dave Grohl and Paul Bostaph jamming to Motorhead’s “Ace of Spades” because that combo it’s just too awesome.

Proceeds from Dimebash will benefit the Ronnie James Dio Stand Up and Shout Cancer Fund.

Black Metal enthusiast from Los Angeles who thought was a good idea to grab a camera and shoot underground shows for the hell of it. Pseudo-writer with little to no expectations of ever winning a Pulitzer but totally down to write about your unknown band if it's good to my ears. I enjoy long walks on the beach, deep conversation, holding hands and attending Satanic music shows every now and then.
