Argonauta Records has signed Niklas Sundin and his Mitochondrial Sun. Mitochondrial Sun is the solo project of Sundin, one of the masterminds behind Dark Tranquillity, a Swedish metal band that has shaped an entire genre of metal music and created scores of disciples.
Mitochondrial Sun is a musical departure for Sundin delivering mostly instrumental, atmospheric, and electronic sensibilities.
The first Mitochondrial Sun album will be released in early 2020 by the Italian label.
