South African post metal outfit Constellatia have shared a video for their song “Empyrean.” The track is taken from their latest effort, 2020’s The Language of Limbs.

 

Vocalist/bassist Keenan Oakes comments:

“I remember us wanting to write a very basic song, structurally speaking, so it takes on the verse/chorus/verse/chorus/bridge/chorus form; a pop song in essence. Thematically, ‘Empyrean’ is about obsession and ecstasy, about unrelenting passion and being consumed by it all. The bridge is a musical highlight for us as a band so far, one of the special moments from ‘The Language of Limbs.’ It feels good to close the chapter on this first incarnation, and to look ahead to the future and more music!”
