Despite what former Atreyu frontman Alex Varkatzas thinks, the group has officially moved on and revealed their new lineup. Drummer and clean vocalist Brandon Saller will be the main frontman as bassist Porter McKnight will handle the harsh vocals. Kyle Rosa has joined as the drummer while guitarists Dan Jacobs and Travis Miguel remain. To celebrate Atreyu’s next chapter, the band has unleashed a music video for the new song “Save Us.” The track will appear in the band’s upcoming eighth studio effort, which will be released via Spinefarm Records.
The group comments on the track:
“‘Save Us’ is not only a reflection of where we are musically, but also a mirror to the world in this ominous moment in time. We chose to pair the powerful message with one of the heavier songs we’ve ever written. This song feels like the anthem that we all need right now. To us, it’s a call to action to light the fire in ourselves. We can begin to make great changes — but only if we look inside first.”
