Apocalyptica have shared a video for, “The Unforgiven II.” The track is the second single taken from the Finnish cellist giants’ upcoming album, Apocalyptica Plays Metallica, Vol.2, out June 7th via their new label Throwdown Entertainment. The track follows the first single, “The Four Horsemen,” which featured Metallica’s own bassist Rob Trujillo.  Apocalyptica Plays Metallica Vol. 2 was produced by longtime collaborator Joe Barresi (Queens of the Stone Age, Soundgarden, Nine Inch Nails, Tool). 

Lead cellist Perttu Kivilaakso comments:

“We wanted to balance what we were doing between old and new. The Unforgiven II has such beautiful melodies and the lyrics are great, too! I loved the fact that we’ve been able to bind this record and our first record together in this way. “
