It’s been years (three of them) since The Acacia Strain’s last album, Coma Witch, and it’s been a pretty quiet time recently. The band had gone in the studio last year, but ever since their first album, 2002’s …And Life is Very Long, they’d dependably put out an album every two years. Fans were starting to get a little nervous. Finally, yesterday Rise Records posted a teaser trailer with the hashtag #gravebloom. The unsettling black and white clip features some industrial sounding noise with the band’s logo almost subliminally flashing throughout it. Might the album be called Gravebloom, or is that just a song title. Either way, Slipknot and Stone Sour’s Corey Taylor is on board, having posted the clip on his Twitter feed. Presumably, we’ll be hearing more about this soon.
