It’s been a while since we got any sort of relevant news from Ozzfest since it adopted a new home in Japan a few years back. For the past few months, the official Ozzfest Facebook page has been throwing back to their previous editions in North America and, with the sudden death of the Rockstar Energy Drink Mayhem Festival, could this mean we can get Ozzfest back in America?

The Ozzfest Facebook page recently teased a new ‘special announcement’  which could be something either related to this year’s edition in Japan, or maybe its triumphant return to American soil. With the current state of festivals in North America, there is a clear gap needing to be filled in and Ozzfest, which was one of the biggest festivals we had, could very easily take over that role.

While it’s fun to guess and speculate about all this, we just have to wait and see what Sharon Ozzy Osbourne has prepared for us. More news as we get it.
