Maylene and the Sons of Disaster’s Dallas Taylor gives health update

Last August, Maylene and the Sons of Disaster frontman Dallas Taylor had an awful accident when he was thrown out of the ATV he was riding without a helmet on. Thankfully he survived, but he’s got a long road of recovery ahead of him. We last heard from him in December (pictured above), and he looked pretty banged up, having suffered multiple broken bones, many in his face, and lost vision in one of his eyes. Yesterday, he posted another update via the band’s Facebook page, and while sad to read, it appears that he’s in better shape than he was two months ago. It’s unclear  whether he’ll be able to recover enough to perform.

However, despite it all, Taylor appears to have a pretty positive outlook. The fact that he’s a religious man has probably given him some help, but his overall attitude suggests that despite his many injuries, some of which appear will be for the rest of his life, his positive mental attitude is getting him through.

Taylor’s Gofundme campaign is still in full swing, having raised a little less than $20,000 of it’s $75,000 goal. It might  be worth revisiting.
