Once you hit it big, you make your way onto mainstream TV, and Jimmy Kimmel has been giving some metal acts their highest national profile for some time already. Now is time for Virginia’s Lamb of God to take the stage on Jimmy Kimmel Live! stage on August 27th. While it’s not a huge surprise, given that the band had the #2 album in the country last week with VII: Sturm und Drang, this will certainly be the heaviest band to appear on his show.

Let’s remember that VII: Sturm und Drang has been nailing the music charts all over the world since its release, proving that metal can be part of the mainstream scene and is doing more than just fine.

There’s still a few more dates left on Slipknot’s Summer Last Stand tour where Lamb of God is playing but, as you can see, there is a small gap between the 26th and 28th which, instead of using it to take a break from the tour, the band will appear on national television. Good on you, guys!

Pseudo-writer with little to no expectations of ever winning a Pulitzer but totally down to write about your unknown band if it's good to my ears. I enjoy long walks on the beach, deep conversation, holding hands and attending Satanic music shows every now and then.
