When was the last time you heard any news about In Flames? It was late last year when they parted ways with their drummer long-time drummer Daniel Svensson but other than that, they’ve been just touring across North America and Europe as usual – but nothing really about new music. Today that changes, as we finally have confirmation that the band is working on a new record as of right now.
In Flames’ frontman Anders Friden recently posted a picture confirming not just that the band have been working on the follow-up to their 2014 Siren Charms but that they’re actually done with the recording of it.
We may have to wait a little bit longer to have any more information regarding this new record or hear a new song off it but, considering they are done with the recording process which is usually the longest and most tedious stage, we can be sure to get it at some point this year.
