Megadeth has been working on finishing up their new album Super Collider, which is apparently colliding with a guest musician appearing on the album. Yesterday, Dave Mustaine revealed in a tweet that horn player Bob Findley would be appearing on the album. Specifically, Findley will be a guest on a track called “A House Divided”.

Findley has worked with many other artists, including David Lee Roth, Neil Diamond, and Steely Dan. He also has performance credits on the soundtracks like Carlito’s Way, The Hunt For Red October, and Grease II (though we would have left that last one out).

However, this isn’t the first time that Megadeth has collaborated with Findley; he was also responsible for the horns on the track “Silent Scorn” from 2001’s The World Needs A Hero. We assume that Findley will be playing the horn again, but might we also suggest experimenting with a didgeridoo, the electric triangle, or a hurdy gurdy? In all seriousness though, we’re looking forward to hearing the track and thirteen other songs on the rest of the album, which is due out in June.
