Out of darkness comes light. Anthrax chose today, a somber day in music history if there ever was one, to announce that they’re working on the follow-up to Worship Music. Considering Dime played on Stomp 442, it’s a fitting tribute. It’s hard to see what Charlie, Scott and Frank are drinking, so we can’t tell if it’s a Blacktooth Grin.
The three are joined by John Tempesta, who is not, we repeat not (NOT!) in Anthrax. I mean Charlie’s right there. We reached out to the band’s publicist, who told us that he just happened to be in the studio, and that he’s good friends with the band, so don’t infer anything about it. But yeah, they couldn’t have chosen a more symbolic day to begin work on the new album.
