You might remember when Killswitch Engage guitarist Adam Dutkiewicz won $50K and two cars on the Price is Right. Well, winning stuff can be expensive, as Dutkiewicz explained on the ‘The Jasta Show’ that he’ll be selling both of the cars because he can’t afford the tax hit.
From The PRP:
Despite his huge winnings, which included two new vehicles, Dutkiewicz can’t afford to keep everything that he won due to the taxes involved. While he hasn’t received the two vehicles yet, he does plan to sell them both when he gets them—the show has a contract which stipulates the prizes will be delivered within two months after the episode’s air date.
Dutkiewicz gave some pretty interesting insight about what it’s like to be on the show as well, explaining that he’d had no idea he was going to be chosen to play, and he’d just gone to the show with his girlfriend on a whim. He also talked about the new Killswitch Engage album coming out later this summer, which would fulfill their contract with Roadrunner Records.
