Tool reveal opening acts for summer tour

Posted by on May 4, 2017

Tool revealed the supporting acts for their summer tour! The first part of the trek will include the California act Once And Future Band from May 24th through June 9th. Electronic giants The Crystal Method will fill in the rest of the journey from June 12th through June 24th.

Tool shared the following:

Tool is pleased to announce that prog rockers the “ONCE AND FUTURE BAND” will be the support act from Fairfax, Virginia through to St. Paul, Minnesota. TOOL is also excited to bring their good friends “THE CRYSTAL METHOD” as support for the rest of the shows – beginning in Calgary, Canada through to the San Bernardino, California show. Some more psychedelia and electronica added to the Tool experience!

And speaking of TCM, “Scott Kirkland also serves as one-half of BANDWITH, a duo he co-founded with longtime friend TOOL bassist Justin Chancellor. Together, they remixed Foals’ “What Went Down” and Puscifer’s “Simultaneous,” adding a definitively deep and dark dynamic to each.”
