The Soilwork Tour Loses Wretched, The Browning

Posted by on February 21, 2013

While it’s still three weeks away from starting, something strange is going on with the Soilwork/Jeff Loomis tour. Namely, that two bands have dropped off the bill. Neither Wretched or the Browning will be playing, both releasing statements about pulling out of the tour. This leaves the bill, for now, as Soilwork, Loomis amd Blackguard.

Wretched had the following to say:

We regret to inform everyone, but due to issues out of our hands, we have to pull off of our upcoming tour with Soilwork. We will most definitely make this up to everyone that was planning to come out and see us. We’ll see you soon.”

While The Browning said this:

We regret to announce that due to scheduling conflicts with recording our new album and shooting a new music video we’re having to pull off of the upcoming Soilwork tour. We apologize to any fans that were expecting to see us at these shows. We’re really excited for everyone to hear our new album and thats why its important for us to get back into the studio as soon as possible. Get ready for new music!”

It’s a little odd that just one band would pull off of a tour just a few weeks prior to it’s start, having two do it is even more suspect. Granted, a two-month tour is not only grueling, it’s an expensive proposition, especially for smaller bands. The Browning are a little less cryptic than Wretched are. No word on whether there will be replacements for the two bands. Check out the routing after the jump.
