The Devil Wears Prada’s North American spring tour with Born Of Osiris, The Word Alive, and Secrets started this week. On this tour, the Dayton, OH band would be performing their 2010 concept EP Zombie in its entirety each night, in honor of its tenth anniversary. Today, they’ve announced a second leg of the tour with support once again from Secrets, as well as St. Petersburg, Florida’s Sleepwave (full tour dates listed below).
In addition, The Devil Wears Prada have also revealed that they will be returning to their previous label, Rise Records, to record another concept EP called Space, to be released sometime this summer. Mike Hranica, the band’s vocalist, had the following to say regarding the return to the label and their upcoming release:
“We’re all very confident in working with Rise again. The label has grown tremendously since our first release back in 2006, nonetheless we know their intention is still the same as ever and we know it’s a model that will compliment us well. We’re persistently hands-on and love to do exactly as we please, and they’re a great place for us to be able to continue that path while supporting our visions. Rise can be commended, deservedly, for their wholehearted drive at releasing albums they believe in; and it’s that enthusiasm that is both welcoming and exciting for our band moving forward.”
