While here at Metal Insider, having a headbangers brawl about how much is too much to spend on concert tickets, it looks like the summer of 2018 is looking to be an expensive season. With that said, The Black Dahlia Murder and White Chapel have announced a co-headlining U.S tour with Fleshgod Apocalypse, Aversions Crown and Shadow of Intent. The Black Dahlia Murder will perform their latest effort Nightbringers in its entirety while Whitechapel will celebrate the tenth anniversary of 2008’s This is Exile by performing it in full. In addition to performing their classic album, Whitechapel will release a special re-issue on June 1st via Metal Blade Records and you can pre-order your copy here. The band will also have a tour-exclusive edition available once they are on the road.
The Black Dahlia Murder commented:
“We’ve known Whitechapel since their humble beginnings and seen them rise to be the important force in heavy music that they are now. It’s exciting to team up with them for this co-headlining tour that’s sure to decimate venues everywhere this summer! See ya soon!”
Whitechapel expressed:
“We are excited to be doing a co-headliner with our friends and label mates The Black Dahlia Murder. To celebrate the 10-year anniversary of ‘This Is Exile’, we will be playing it as a whole, and Black Dahliawill be playing their new record as a whole as well. It should be a great night of metal, including the opening acts as well.”
