With the March 31 release date of their cover album quickly approaching, legendary and highly-influential New York-based industrial crossover trio Prong has just announced a full, forty-one date North American headlining tour for the fall and into the early winter of 2015. The “Songs From The Black Hole North American Tour” will kick off Friday, October 23 at the Ramona Mainstage in Ramona, CA, span across the United States and into Canada, and wrap up back in California, concluding at West Hollywood’s Whiskey a Go Go on Monday, December 7.
This will be the first full-on American tour for Prong in over a year, but the group will be touring Europe for about a month starting in April. Prong’s current lineup includes lead vocalist/guitarist and founder Tommy Victor, bassist/backing vocalist Jason Christopher, and drummer Art Cruz. Prong’s most recent studio album, Ruining Lives, was released on April 23, 2014 via Steamhammer/SPV.
