New Jersey and German thrash metal will collide this fall, as Overkill and Kreator have announced plans to embark on a co-headlining tour. Originally the two were slated for a two-show stint in New York this coming November. However, now Overkill and Kreator will be playing 26 shows together starting on October 30 in Baltimore.
“Overkill and Kreator is powerhouse combination, a serious one. Two thrash punch. This is what it’s all about! Hang on, LET’S DO THIS!,” declares Overkill’s Bobby “Blitz” Ellsworth. Making the tour even more thrash-tastic is openers Warbringer, representing the new school of thrash. Overkill and Kreator intend to takes turns closing each show, though it’ll be Overkill (unsurprisingly) playing last when the tour comes to an end at New York’s Stage 48 on November 23-24.
