When it was announced that Opeth and Gojira would be playing Red Rocks on May 11th, many were excited. Not only does Opeth not tour all that often in the United States, but to see them with Gojira in one of the most iconic and beautiful venues in America together for what was, at that time, the only announced date found some people checking flights for May to Colorado. However, with both bands announced as playing Carolina Rebellion yesterday, some thought that perhaps they might wind up doing a few more dates.
This morning, just after Gojira picked up two Grammy nominations, the bands announced some more dates that will find them playing the East Coast and midwest, and is a show not to be missed.
