If it seems like only a month and a half ago that Baltimore was the destination for extreme metal fans and bands from around the world, that’s because it was. But the Maryland Deathfest has wasted no time in announcing the first round of bands for the 2015 incarnation of the fest. Neurosis is playing, and so it Triptykon, who canceled their appearance at this year’s fest after the death of H.R. Giger. Portal and Metal Church are among some of the other band’s making their way to the fest, which will again be held at the Edison Lot, Rams Head and Soundstage from May 21-24. Tickets will go on sale this Saturday (19) at 3pmEST.

Here’s the lineup so far. If the band has an asterik in front of it, that means they’re making an exclusive U.S. appearance.
